Broadcasting Courses

RSU offers a bachelor’s degree in communication with a radio/television option, as well as an associate’s degree in radio/television. These degrees will provide students with an understanding of broadcast technology, concepts, and presentation while studying - and working - in the RSU studios.

Students are provided a diverse curriculum taught by RSU faculty with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. To compliment its classroom instruction, RSU provides broadcasting students with practical “hands on” experience in all facets of television and radio production.

Faculty teach the fundamentals of reporting, writing, providing thorough coverage of both areas for print and broadcast journalism, and offer multicultural reporting.

The radio and television facilities help students understand the technology and processes of broadcasting production - from theory to “hands on” application and experience.
